Introducing Mohawk’s Service Levels

Mohawk wants you to know that you have options when it comes to international transportation. As your logistics service provider, it’s our job to communicate those options to you in a way that is easy to understand.

So, we’re changing our approach. Beginning October 1, our staff will use a set of service levels to define your options for all international transportation services.

AIR FREIGHT

Critical
Highest priority handling. Arrival is within 1-2 days, airport to airport.

Premium
Expedited service. Arrival is within 3-4 days, airport to airport.

Standard
Most cost effective service. Arrival is within 5-7 days, airport to airport.

Customized
A flexible solution based on your delivery needs.

OCEAN FREIGHT

Premium
Shortest transit time available using the most reliable carriers.

Standard
Most cost effective service available.

Customized
A flexible solution based on your delivery needs.

Trans-Pacific Express (TPX)
An efficient alternative to traditional ocean import service, TPX takes advantage of regional railheads to cut down on transit time. Available for Full Container Loads and Less Than Container Loads from most Asia-Pacific origins.

Holding our partners accountable

On October 1, we will also begin to use this universal language with our agent and carrier partners. By defining these service levels, we are also setting delivery expectations and holding our agent and carrier partners accountable for meeting those expectations. This is not just about what Mohawk needs to do. It’s also about making sure that all of the links in the chain do what they need to do to meet your delivery expectations.
