Teaming Up with Komar Sleepwear to Fight Juvenile Diabetes

November is American Diabetes month. Mohawk has teamed up with one of our clients, Komar Sleepwear, the largest privately owned sleepwear and intimate apparel manufacturer in the U.S., to support their fundraiser, “PJ’s for the Cure.”

Komar’s goal is to sell 40,000 pajamas via their website,, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. If Komar reaches its goal, they will have raised over $1 million for the foundation.

Mohawk Global Logistics donated its Customs clearance services for the importation of the PJ’s.

The inspiration for PJs for the Cure originated with Charlie Komar, President and CEO of the company. Komar’s wife was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes in 1990.

“We have a long-standing partnership with Komar, one of our most loyal clients,” says Gar Grannell, Mohawk’s President.

“We truly value our relationship with Komar and we’re glad to offer our support to such a great company and a great cause,” says Grannell.

Mohawk encourages our employees, clients, vendors and other business partners to please consider making a donation to PJ’s for the Cure.
