Airport

A new air traffic control system is being implemented in Hong Kong International Airport. Starting October 26, aviation authorities have cut 90 flights per day, which is expected to last until November 30. With the sudden decrease in air space and recent issues with vessel space from the Hanjin crisis, clients are advised to book outbound air shipments as early as possible and expect air delays during the system set up period.

Mohawk clients are encouraged to contact their customer service representative should they have any questions or concerns about securing space for air cargo.
