Michael J. McSherry, LCB

Michael (Mike) McSherry started his career over 40 years ago as a creative and visionary entrepreneur. During that time, he helped establish Mohawk Customs and Shipping, as well as several other companies. He also headed Hancock International Associates, Inc., an airport development company responsible for investing nearly $20 million to improve and privatize the air cargo facilities at Syracuse’s Hancock International Airport.

Mike has served as a charter member of the Onondaga County Foreign Trade Zone Task Force, chairman of the World Trade Council of the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, former board member of the Franklin Program in Transportation and Distribution Management at Syracuse University, and taught import-export programs at University College of Syracuse University. He has participated in seminars with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the New York Department of Commerce, as well as various trade groups and banks.

Mike is a licensed Customs broker. He is currently Chairman Emeritus of Mohawk Global.
