Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has published the USMCA Implementing Instructions Addendum, which will inform the trade community of USMCA updates. This will cover the changes that were flagged for the trade in CSMS #45309245.
These updates include: Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs), Merchandise Processing Fees (MPF), end of restrained enforcement, automotive goods—additional time for verifications, used automotive goods, and extension of automotive certification deadline for alternative staging regime petitioners.
