India Removed from GSP Effective June 5
As of June 5, 2019, India will no longer be eligible for Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), according to a Presidential Proclamation. The reason for its termination is that the President has “determined that India has not assured the United States that India will provide equitable and reasonable access to its markets.”
