With 32 years of customs brokerage experience, Karen Damon joins Mohawk Global as Vice President, Regulatory Compliance. Karen is a licensed customs broker and NCBFAA NEI Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Export Specialist (CES).
She is an advocate for trade and currently serves as President and board member of the Northern Border Customs Brokers Association. Karen is President of the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (NCBFAA). In her role as President, Karen helps guide the strategic direction of the NCBFAA, advocate on behalf of its members, and collaborate with government agencies and industry stakeholders to support efficient, compliant, and forward-thinking trade practices.
Karen actively participates in the trade community, including membership in the Trade Support Network and participation in CBP Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) working groups.
