U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has released a notice detailing plans to increase Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act fees by 30.849% to reflect inflation. Importers will see an increase in their U.S. Customs user fees—minimum and maximum Merchandise Processing Fees (MPF)—effective October 1, 2024.
Below are examples of the current fees and what the adjusted fees will be.

The Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) ad valorem rate of 0.3464% will not change.
