At the end of April, Brianne Victor, Export Coordinator in our Buffalo, NY office, flew to Bremen, Germany to begin her three month excursion through our employee foreign exchange program.
What is this program?
The exchange program provides an opportunity for our employees to immerse themselves in a foreign country, and bring back what they’ve learned. Mohawk employees who are accepted into the program spend 90 days working for one of Mohawk’s agent partners overseas. Conversely, Mohawk hosts employees of our agent’s facilities to have a similar experience.
In fact, we just recently said good-bye to Uwe Runge, an employee from our agent in Germany, whom we hosted for 18 months. Now, Uwe has the honor of welcoming Brianne to Germany and will offer his German hospitality during her stay.
