To bring relief to Haiti’s earthquake victims, Mohawk partnered with Upstate companies to send much needed bottled water to Port-au-Prince.

Nirvana Spring Water and Adirondack Beverages each donated a 40-foot container of bottled water.

The water was picked up at Nirvana’s warehouse in Forestport, NY (1 on map) and Adirondack’s warehouse in Scotia, NY (1 on map) and trucked to the Port of New York/New Jersey.

Lightning Fast Freight and ARL Transport donated a significant portion of the trucking to NY/NJ.

Both containers of bottled water then sailed to the Port of Caucedo, Dominican Republic (3).

The New Apostolic Church, which has congregations in the U.S. and Haiti, transported the water from Caucedo to Port-au-Prince(4). The water was then distributed road-side.
