More good news for importers. The office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has announced the sixth round of product exclusions for Section 301 tariffs. These exclusions will be retroactive as of July 6, 2018 and will extend for one year after the publication of the notice—July 9, 2020. This exclusion list covers over 100 products from the additional 25 percent duty imposed on Section 301 list 1.
