Ship in Hamburg, Germany

At the end of April, Brianne Victor, Export Coordinator in our Buffalo, NY office, flew to Bremen, Germany to begin her three month adventure through our employee foreign exchange program. During her second month abroad, Brianne visited the beautiful city of Hamburg, took a trip to Paris, and walked around Amsterdam. Here is a small sample of what she had to say about each trip.

Hamburg

When asked why she loved Hamburg so much, Brianne answered, “I like water; I like bridges; I like old buildings; and I like boats. That is exactly what I saw in Hamburg.”

Paris

In Paris, she describes her visit as the “most touristy” thing she could do; “In Paris I ate crêpes, I took a hop on hop off bus tour to make sure I saw all of the big Paris sights; I took a few minutes to sit and rest on the Champ de Mars since it was close to 90 degrees my whole trip; it was pretty relaxed and not planned out like a majority of my trips.”

Amsterdam

Brianne discovered the difference between an American apple pie and a Dutch apple pie in Amsterdam; “This is not American apple pie and I feel bad saying it but it’s so much better! Buffalo office–I’ve already done a lot of Pinterest research for a good recipe so there will be Brianne-made Dutch apple pie in your future!”
