The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department has announced a new X-ray screening requirement for air cargo moving through Hong Kong, which will be implemented in four phases. The final phase will require that all air cargo moving through Hong Kong be screened by June 30, 2021.
The following is the scheduled roll-out.

The first phase of air cargo screening has been implemented, as of January 1, 2020. This means that 25% of all air cargo shipments moving through Hong Kong will be subject to security screening.
