We have been informed by the Port Authority of NY/NJ that, “under the auspices of the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service that the USMX and the ILA have agreed to a 30-day contract extension to midnight January 28, 2013.”
As a result, the container terminals in the Port of New York & New Jersey are resuming their regular schedules; so in most cases, will not be open this weekend.
