Traditionally, ocean carriers take this opportunity to void scheduled sailings in favor of anchoring their ships or sending them in for maintenance. However, this year that level of control of their sailings has been disrupted due to the Panama Canal and Red Sea challenges. Currently, we are seeing overbooked vessels and cargo rolling.
Our team of experts have already been hard at work cautioning shippers of possible delays for new bookings. We will continue to monitor our client’s shipments for any delays in arrival. Reach out to your Mohawk Global Representative with any questions you may have.
