Logistics Company Launches Trade Consulting Division

SYRACUSE, NEW YORK, 8 MARCH 2011—Mohawk Global Logistics, a third party logistics provider, announces the launch of a new consulting division named Mohawk Global Trade Advisors (MGTA).

The new division will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Syracuse, NY and will offer international trade compliance and supply chain management consulting services to import and export companies across the U.S.

“Government regulations over the last five years have increased the needs of the market enough to develop this new compliance focused revenue stream,” said Mohawk’s President and CEO Gar Grannell.

With U.S. companies placing increasing importance on managing their global supply chains, MGTA will also offer consulting support in supply chain management, including strategic sourcing, supplier quality and risk management, and transportation management.
