Our people have continued to thrive, this past year, by getting out in their communities to help others. In addition to giving back to our communities, we are focusing on the environment and unique sustainability opportunities. It has truly been an honor to have partnered with incredible organizations through our Mohawk Global Giveback program, including River Rock Community Coalition, Inc. (RRCC), and One Tree Planted.

On Earth Day, we planted a tree for each of our employees. We asked One Tree Planted to place the trees where they were most needed. They planted 315 trees in the rainforest on behalf of Mohawk Global, and we couldn’t be more excited to plant more in the future.

“The greatest gift has been watching our people give back with such joy. Nothing is better than seeing the light in their eyes and in those around them, as we continue to support one another,” said Chairman and CEO, Gar Grannell.

At Mohawk Global, we take great pride in living out our core values—enrich, care, deliver—in everything we do.

“Not only does Mohawk Global care about their employees and families, but they also care about the communities in which they live. When Mohawk Global found out that I was the founder of a small nonprofit organization, providing resources to an underserved community, they immediately offered to help. Mohawk Global employees from the Syracuse and Buffalo offices volunteered on a community clean-up project this summer, to assist in the unveiling of a community mural supporting mental health and suicide prevention awareness.

Mohawk Global also sponsored our “Breakfast with Santa” event, that provided a hot breakfast, hot cocoa bar, activities, and free gifts to children in the Riverside and Black Rock communities, where nearly 37% of families are below the poverty line. Not only did they sponsor the event, but employees volunteered to shop and wrap gifts, as well as assisting with activities on the day of the event,” said George Fitzpatrick, President of RRCC.

It warms our hearts to know that we’ve made even a small difference in the lives of the people surrounding us and the places they live.

Happy holidays!
