With the recent rise in COVID-19 cases throughout China, some cities have implemented widespread testing along with inner-city travel restrictions. The below details outline the current freight-forwarding and logistics status of major Chinese cities as of August 6.
Shanghai:
- One sub-district near PVG is flagged as a medium-risk area and under lockdown
- In Jiangsu province, there are two areas flagged as high-risk areas and 107 areas as medium-risk, mainly in Nanjing, Suqian and Huaian
- Operation will be affected if a manufacturer falls into those areas
Qingdao:
- In Yantai, a Shandong province, there are three areas flagged as medium-risk areas. Operation will be affected if a manufacturer falls into those areas
Dalian:
- One sub-district in Ganjinzi District, Dalian is flagged as a medium-risk area
- Operation of terminals and airports are all in order
Chongqing:
- Within the Sichuan province, there are six sub-districts flagged as medium-risk areas, three of them in Chengdu
- Operation will be affected if a manufacturer falls into those areas
Xiamen:
- Two sub-districts in the Siming District are flagged as medium-risk areas
- Operation of terminals and airports are all in order
