Tropical storm Jongdari hit northeast of the East China Sea yesterday and is expected to reach Shanghai on Friday. Predictions are that the storm will strengthen and be upgraded to a Typhoon.
Delays in vessels docking and departing the port of Shanghai were experienced during last month’s Typhoon Ampil. The level of impact, if any, on global supply chains remains uncertain at this point.
