As Newark General Manager, Brian Zappola is responsible for the expansion of our business in and around the state of New Jersey. He has over 19 years of experience in international trade and has held a variety of management positions for several logistics service providers, including two publicly traded companies. His career path has had an interesting turn from being a volunteer firefighter for 12 years in New Jersey, to his various management roles in international trade. Some of Brian’s past positions include being an Import Manager for a specialty food company based in New York City and a Regional Manager for a multinational logistics company.
Brian is a licensed Customs broker and a Six Sigma Green Belt. He specializes in team development, training, supply chain management, and freight forwarding. Brian has helped to create an online Customs brokerage test prep class, which he also teaches. In his spare time, Brian enjoys dabbling in photography and playing golf.
