CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, 25 MAY 2011—Mohawk Global Logistics, a Syracuse-based company, has opened an office in Chicago to accommodate its growing clientele in the Midwest.
The office will offer a full menu of logistics services, including domestic and international forwarding, warehousing and distribution, Customs brokerage, and consulting to local companies.
“This gets us closer to our clients in the Midwest and opens the door to new markets,” says Mohawk’s President and CEO, Gar Grannell.
Leading operations at the new office is General Manager, Beth Durkin. Durkin joins the company with nearly a quarter century of experience working in logistics and supply chain management.
Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Syracuse, New York, Mohawk Global Logistics is a team of transportation and trade compliance specialists. Most recently, the company launched its consulting division–Mohawk Global Trade Advisors.
