The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has announced a revised list of European Union (EU) goods to be subject to Section 301 tariffs—as a resolution to the dispute over Airbus subsidies. These changes go into effect on September 1, 2020.

The USTR is removing certain products from Greece and the United Kingdom but is adding an equivalent amount from France and Germany. The amount of products subject to these countermeasures will “remain unchanged at $7.5 billion and the tariff rates will remain unchanged at 15% for aircraft and 25% for all other products,” according to the USTR.

If you have questions about the revised list, please reach out to your Mohawk Global customer service representative.
