An outbreak of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Ningbo’s administrative district of Beilun. Three terminals in Ningbo are located near the epidemic site, where authorities have implemented disinfection and quarantine measures. While the port is currently unaffected, delays are expected as trucker capacity and certain shippers face challenges to get containers to the port as scheduled.
Trucking services outside the Beilun District of Ningbo are strictly regulated. Trucking service providers are required to apply for traffic permits for services to proceed. Container depots Greating Fortune Yard 3, Hongda Yard, and CIMC Yard 1 are currently closed due to the outbreak. Ningbo Bluedragon LongXing warehouse operations are currently suspended and Ningbo Bluedragon LongFei warehouse operations are open for limited terminals.
